They know what they are doing and they do it very well.  My car - Jaguar XF - had a/c issues that 2 other garages could not/would not attempt to sort.  Autovets investigated the issue, communicated the various options available then sorted the problem.  They even fixed an annoying rattle the car had had for a year at no extra cost. Phoned up auto vets to ask if they could please replace my windwiper for me. Without listening they asked, ‘are you a customer here?’ And I said I wasn’t. He immediately said couldn’t help me. RAC had written me up a report asking me to go Auto vets as it’s the closest in my area and they don’t want me to drive to extended areas just in case it rains and I can’t see due to the wipers. However gentleman never gave me time to explain and just shut me off. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this with Auto vets. Be a bit more polite maybe if you can’t do it or else at least let me finish my sentence? But it’s fine, Halfords are so much more understanding and helped me within minutes despite being a very busy store.

Better service than the dealer! Was unsure about using a independent instead of Mercedes with the SL. It's never been serviced anywhere apart from main dealer previously. Spoke to the guys at the garage and they explained everything they'd be doing on a merc "B Service" all OEM parts.
